The Stone County Medical Center Support Services Employee of the Month is Vickie Jelks. She is a Financial Counselor in the Business Office and has been with SCMC for more than five years. Vickie assists patients with making arrangements to pay their medical bills and following up on accident reports. She assists with other Business Office functions as needed. Vickie has also worked at SCMC in the Patient Accounts Department.
Vickie enjoys her co-workers and sees her position as challenging and fun. Vickie was chosen by her co-workers in Administration and Dietary for her attitude and willingness to help others.
Vickie has two children and two grandchildren. She enjoys cooking, playing games on the computer, spending time with her grandchildren.
