
Gary L. Bebow, Administrator/CEO of White River Medical Center (WRMC) has announced the addition of seven new physicians to the Medical Staff.
The new physicians are Dr. Jennifer McLaughlin, Dermatology; Dr. Nathan McLaughlin; Internal Medicine/Hospitalist; Dr. François Rony Roche, Internal Medicine/ Hospitalist; Dr. Garrett Sanford, Cardiology; Dr. Jordan Weaver, Family Practice; Dr. David Yarnell, General Surgery; and Dr. Katherine Yarnell, Psychiatry.
Jennifer McLaughlin, M.D. received her medical degree from UAMS and completed her residency training in Dermatology at Texas Tech Health and Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. As a Dermatologist, Dr. McLaughlin will specialize in diagnosing and treating medical conditions concerning the skin. Her office is located at 16 Hospital Circle, Suite B.

Internal Medicine physicians Nathan McLaughlin, M.D. and François Rony Roche, M.D. recently joined the WRMC Hospital Medicine Program.
Hospital medicine is a specialty in which physicians focus on caring for patients in the hospital setting. Hospitalists work closely with the patient, family members, primary care physicians, other specialists and other departments of the hospital to provide the most appropriate care.
Dr. Nathan McLaughlin received his medical degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Roche received his medical degree from State University of Haiti in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Cardiologist Garrett Sanford, M.D. joined the WRMC Medical Staff in July and is in private practice at Batesville Cardiology. He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He completed residency training in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at (UAMS)/Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Dr. Sanford completed a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of North Carolina Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
As a Cardiologist, Dr. Sanford provides care to patients who have experienced a heart attack, chest pain, or other cardiac condition, but also manage the risk of heart disease in patients with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and/or a family history of heart disease.

Jordan Weaver, M.D. is the new primary family physician in private practice at Weaver Family Medicine. Dr. Weaver acquired the practice of his grandfather, Dr. Bob Slaughter. Dr. Weaver received his medical degree from UAMS. He completed residency training at UAMS Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Northeast/St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center and is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
Dr. Weaver will provide comprehensive health care for the individual or family of all ages. He is currently seeing patients at the same location at the corner of 20th and Harrison Street in Batesville.

David Yarnell, M.D. is a General Surgeon in private practice at Batesville Surgery and CT Imaging. He is a member of the Medical Staff at WRMC and will also treat patients at Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View.
Dr. Yarnell received his Medical Degree, as well as completed his internship and residency at UAMS. He is a fellow of American College of Surgeons. General Surgeons are physicians who operate to repair injuries, correct deformities, prevent diseases, and generally improve the health of patients. They examine patients to determine if surgery is necessary and select the appropriate surgical procedure.
Katherine Yarnell, M.D., Psychiatry is accepting patients for outpatient at the WRHS Behavioral Health Clinic.
As a Psychiatrist, Dr. Yarnell specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders associated with mood, feelings, or behavior. Dr. Yarnell received her medical degree and completed Internship and Residency at UAMS.
Dr. Yarnell is accepting new patients by referral from a primary care physician or mental health agencies and can be reached by calling (870) 698-2100.
