Cheryl Watters, RN is the February Stone County Medical Center Nursing Employee of the Month. Cheryl is a Charge Nurse and has been employed at SCMC for a year. As the Charge Nurse, Cheryl provides nursing care to patients, implements physician orders and assists other nurses. She works in the emergency and surgery departments as needed. Cheryl is also a part of the Meditech implementation team.
Cheryl enjoys the patients and her fellow employees at SCMC. She also likes working close to her home in the Mountain View area. Cheryl and her husband Tim have been married for 23 years and have two grown children, Megan and Timothy. Cheryl enjoys reading, riding horses, and woodworking. She plans to travel in the future.
She was chosen by her co-workers in the Surgery and Medical Equipment Department for her nursing skills, attitude and commitment to co-workers. Cheryl is always willing to help out when she is needed.
