Tyler Johnson, Clinical Laboratory, WRMC July Employee of the MonthTyler Johnson, Medical Technologist, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) July Employee of the Month as the representative of Respect. Tyler’s coworkers in the WRMC Clinical Laboratory nominated her for this recognition.

Tyler performs tests as ordered on blood and bodily fluids to aid in diagnosis and ensure proper treatment for patients.  She operates the LCMS analyzer to provide drug-screen confirmation results. Tyler and the Laboratory staff work in the following areas within the laboratory: blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, and Urinalysis.

Tyler describes her co-workers as professionals who know the true meaning of teamwork. She appreciates the Laboratory leaders who ensure she has everything needed to perform her job and succeed professionally.

Kenneth Dingman, WRMC Plant Operations, June Employee of the MonthKenneth Dingman, Plant Operations Electrician, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) May Employee of the Month as the representative of Prompt Service. Doyle Cockrill, Cath Lab Director nominated Kenneth.

As the hospital’s electrician, Kenneth installs new equipment, electrical panels, and maintaining electrical equipment.  He is a licensed Master Electrician.

Kenneth likes that his job requires him to work in areas throughout the facility and enjoys his coworkers.

Kenneth and his wife Gayla are parents to Lindsey.  They enjoy fishing and hunting.

Frankie Lavern Treadway, WRMC May 2018 Employee of the MonthFrankie Lavern Treadway, Environmental Services, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) May Employee of the Month as the representative of Environmental Focus. Doyle Cockrill and the Radiology staff nominated Lavern.

Lavern is a member of the team responsible for keeping the hospital clean. She assists patients, employees, and visitors by cleaning and sanitizing clinical treatment areas, patient rooms, and public spaces throughout the hospital. 

When asked what she liked most about working at WRMC Lavern said, I like helping people and making their day better.  Before joining Environmental Services, she worked in the WRMC Laundry.

Jenny Callahan, RN, CN-BN, WRMC Employee of the MonthJenny Callahan, RN, CN-BN, Oncology Nurse Navigator, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) April Employee of the Month as the representative of Demeanor. Michele Wood, Marketing Director, nominated Jenny.  As the Oncology Navigator, Jenny is a resource for patients from discovery through recovery. She educates patients regarding their diagnosis and helps to coordinate appointments with healthcare providers.  Jenny also connects patients with resources within our organization, as well as resources outside White River Health System. She is also involved in community events to promote cancer screenings.

Jenny has been associated with WRMC or a local physician’s office since 2003.  She is proud of WRMC’s outreach programs, specialty clinics, educational events, and community health fairs.   She is grateful for the opportunity to interact and educate patients.

Debbie Mitchell, CMSRN, RN, White River Medical Center Employee of the MonthDebbie Mitchell, CMSRN, RN, 3rd Floor Charge Nurse, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) February Employee of the Month as the representative of Respect. Reva Wells, RN, nominated Debbie.  Debbie provides patient care, trains new employees, provides education to fellow employees, and serves as Charge Nurse for 7PM shift.

Debbie considers her co-workers her second family.  Throughout her 22-year career, Debbie has worked as a float pool nurse, orthopaedic nurse, and other areas as needed.

Debbie has a daughter, Samantha, who is also a RN at WRMC, and Debbie has three grandchildren.

Amanda Whiteaker, Administration, WRMC January 2018 Employee of the MonthAmanda Whiteaker, Executive Assistant, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) January Employee of the Month as the representative of Prompt Service.  Mary Wood-Cox, Graduate Medical Education, nominated Amanda.  Amanda coordinates administrative meetings, conferences, and appointments for the Administrative Team. She coordinates details on behalf of Administrative Team, including preparing notices, agendas, and exhibits. She also transcribes meeting minutes, answers phone calls, and receives visitors.  Amanda prepares and distributes the daily operations report.

Amanda joined WRMC as the Executive Assistant in 2015. She enjoys her co-workers and describes WRMC employees as always willing to help.

Amanda and her husband Chad will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in 2018. Their daughter Ally is a college student, and their son Nick is a seventh grader.

Lorie Pinckard, System Analyst, WRMC August 2017 Employee of the MonthLorie Pinckard, Information Systems Analyst, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) August Employee of the Month as the representative of Prompt Service.

Lorie is responsible for issuing passwords; setting up new users for Meditech and Microsoft Outlook; submitting payment requests for all phone, internet, and cable accounts; and submitting IT orders to Materials Management.  She has worked for WRMC for 27 years.

“I am always learning something new in my job,” Lorie said when asked what she enjoyed about working at WRMC. “I’ve also had the opportunity to work with friends who’ve been with WRHS for a long time.”

Lorie and her husband Ed have a married son, Matt.  She enjoys golf, running, being outdoors with her two dogs, cooking, and vintage shopping.

Jamie Gooch, RN, WRMC July 2017 Employee of the Month

Jamie Gooch, RN, Hospital Medicine Department is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) July Employee of the Month as the representative of Respect.

Jamie assists Hospitalist Physicians providing inpatient care to patients. This includes gathering data about new patients, medication reconciliation, and discharge planning.   She is a part of the care team that ensures patients receive excellent care. Jamie has been an employee for 13 years.  She has also worked on the Orthopaedics and Oncology floors, the ICU, and as a Charge Nurse.

“WRMC is home to me,” said Jamie.  “We are fortunate to have co-workers that are dedicated to patient care.”

Annette Townsley, RN, WRMC Employee of the Month April 2017, The Children's ClinicAnnette Townsley, RN, BSN, PCMH (Patient Centered Medical Home) Coordinator at the Children’s Clinic, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) April Employee of the Month as the representative of Respect.   

Annette works with families to ensure patients and their families are involved in their care.  She assists parents with equipment and specialty services their children may need. Annette has daily interaction with children and their families.  She is passionate about providing the highest quality medical care to patients at The Children’s Clinic. 

While pursuing her education, Annette worked for WRMC in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Diane Horn, WRMC March 2017 Employee of the MonthPrompt Service

Diane Horn, from Materials Management, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) March Employee of the Month as the representative of Prompt Service.   

Diane processes all vendor invoices for payment and verifies the Department’s payroll.  She began her career at WRMC over 37 years ago as the relief switchboard operator.  Diane has also worked in the Patient Accounts and Home Health Departments. 

When asked what she enjoys about working at WRMC, Diane replied, “I love my co-workers. We are like family.”

Sarah Lung, RN, WRMC Employee of the Month - February 2017Sarah Lung, RN, from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) February Employee of the Month as the representative of Environmental Focus.   

As a nurse in the ICU, Sarah provides care to critically ill patients.  Sarah recently began training as an inpatient dialysis nurse.  She has previously worked as a pediatric nurse in the medical/surgical department at WRMC. 

When asked what she enjoys about working at WRMC, Sara replied, “I love being able to help people during what might be one of their worst days. I appreciate the growth and expansion of WRHS.  The new services and technology available since I began working at WRMC are wonderful for our community.”
