Annette Townsley, RN, WRMC Employee of the Month April 2017, The Children's ClinicAnnette Townsley, RN, BSN, PCMH (Patient Centered Medical Home) Coordinator at the Children’s Clinic, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) April Employee of the Month as the representative of Respect.   

Annette works with families to ensure patients and their families are involved in their care.  She assists parents with equipment and specialty services their children may need. Annette has daily interaction with children and their families.  She is passionate about providing the highest quality medical care to patients at The Children’s Clinic. 

While pursuing her education, Annette worked for WRMC in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Diane Horn, WRMC March 2017 Employee of the MonthPrompt Service

Diane Horn, from Materials Management, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) March Employee of the Month as the representative of Prompt Service.   

Diane processes all vendor invoices for payment and verifies the Department’s payroll.  She began her career at WRMC over 37 years ago as the relief switchboard operator.  Diane has also worked in the Patient Accounts and Home Health Departments. 

When asked what she enjoys about working at WRMC, Diane replied, “I love my co-workers. We are like family.”

Sarah Lung, RN, WRMC Employee of the Month - February 2017Sarah Lung, RN, from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) February Employee of the Month as the representative of Environmental Focus.   

As a nurse in the ICU, Sarah provides care to critically ill patients.  Sarah recently began training as an inpatient dialysis nurse.  She has previously worked as a pediatric nurse in the medical/surgical department at WRMC. 

When asked what she enjoys about working at WRMC, Sara replied, “I love being able to help people during what might be one of their worst days. I appreciate the growth and expansion of WRHS.  The new services and technology available since I began working at WRMC are wonderful for our community.”

Curtis Mynatt, Radiology, WRMC 2016 Employee of the Year

Curtis Mynatt, CNMT, BSRT (N), Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Supervisor, is the White River Medical Center 2016 Employee of the Year. He was the January Employee of the Month as the representative of Respect in the PRIDE (Personal Responsibility In Delivering Excellence) Standard. Employees were asked to select an overall Employee of the Year from the Employee of the Month winners. 

When asked what he enjoys most about working at WRMC, Curtis replied, “My patients and my co-workers. Listening and caring for each person gives me a sense of self-worth.” Curtis added, “I love it when I can make a patient smile. God has truly blessed me with this job.”

Reva Wells, RN, WRMC January 2017 Employee of the Month

 

Reva Wells, RN, from Third Floor Central (3C), is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) January Employee of the Month as the representative of Demeanor.   

Reva is a part of the patient care team providing direct patient care to patients on the third floor. Reva also serves as the night Charge Nurse and as a preceptor for new employees. 

Reva’s co-workers describe her as very deserving and as a wonderful nurse. When asked what she enjoys most about her work, Reva replied, “I enjoy providing direct, bedside patient care.” Reva began her career at WRMC in 2009 and has also worked in the Observation, Progressive Care, and 4E Medical Surgical Units.

Betty Willette, BSN, CPAN, CAPABetty Willette, BSN, CPAN, CAPA, from The Stepping Stone (Inpatient Psychiatric Unit), is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) December Employee of the Month as the representative of Involved.   

Betty is a part of the patient care team focused on improving patients’ mental and physical well-being.  Betty evaluates the mental and physical health of the patients in her care.  She educates patients about their illness and the medications prescribed as a part of their treatment plan.  She evaluates the effectiveness of medications, and patients’ response and participation in group therapy.

Betty began her career at WRMC in 1991 on the 2nd Medical/Surgical Floor.  She has worked on 3rd Floor, with Dr. Lambert as the Bariatric Program Liaison, and in the Ambulatory Care Center, Surgical Pre-Op/Post Op before transferring to The Stepping Stone....Read more

Sherry Spearman, WRMC November 2016 Employee of the Month

Sherry Spearman, PBT/ASCP in the Outpatient Lab, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) October Employee of the Month as the representative of Respect.   Sherry draws blood for patients for all tests Providers are unable to do in their offices.  Other patients include pre-admission surgical patients, patients with medical conditions that require routine laboratory tests and, pre-employment and post-accident drug screens. 

Sherry carefully checks to be sure that Provider orders are accurate to ensure the patients’ insurance companies can process and pay for the care patients receive.  She enjoys the challenge of her job and says that no two days are alike.  During the 18 years Sherry has worked at WRMC, she says that she has never be rejected when asking for help from her co-workers. “WRMC employees...Read more

Terri Brandon, WRMC Accounting DepartmentTerri Brandon, Accounting is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) October Employee of the Month as the representative of Prompt Service.  Terri processes payroll for all White River Medical Center and Clinic Division employees.  She enjoys her co-workers and the family atmosphere.  Terri said, “We are treated more like family than just a co-worker.”  She has worked at in the Accounting Department for 15 years.

Terri and her husband of nine years are the parents of a six-year old daughter and three-year old son. Terri enjoys camping and fishing with her family.
