Lavonna Taylor, RN, CCRN is the WRMC April Employee of the Month. She has worked at WRMC for more than 21 years. Lavonna was recognized for demonstrating the Appearance standard. Lavonna works in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as the Charge nurse. She is responsible for making staff assignments, assisting with patient care and admitting patients to the ICU. Lavonna is also a member of the rapid response and trauma teams.
"I am proud of the care we give to our patients and to the positive growth of our facility," said Taylor. "I am also proud of our commitment to technology and the medical technology available at WRMC."
Lavonna has also worked in the WRMC Cardiac Rehabilitation Department. "I've worked with every leader of Cardiac Rehab and I am very proud of the care provided to our Cardiac Rehab patients."
Lavonna and her husband of 31 years are the parents of one son. In her spare time, she enjoys reading.
