Mountain View, Ark - White River Health System has entered into an agreement to sell Stone County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Stone County Residential Care Facility to AdCare of Springfield Ohio. Pending unforeseen circumstances, the sale will occur on or before November 28, 2011. Subsequent to the acquisition by AdCare, it is expected that the facilities will continue operations, providing skilled nursing care and assisted living services.

"As the ownership transition takes place, the WRHS Leadership Team will be working with AdCare closely to ensure the wellbeing of all our residents and employees."
WRHS, a regional not-for-profit healthcare system in North Central Arkansas includes two hospitals, outpatient care centers, rural health clinics, physician offices, a medical equipment company and long-term care facilities.
