Emergency Medicine – The existing physician group providing Emergency Medicine coverage at WRMC has an opening for a physician. The Emergency Department treats approximately 30,000 patients annually.
Family Practice – The Newport Diagnostic Medical Clinic has an opportunity for a Family Practice Physician. Join two Family Practice physicians in a spacious clinic that includes x-ray, laboratory, ultrasound and bone densitometry services.
Gastroenterology - Join a well established multi-specialty group or establish a solo practice. There is an opportunity to invest in an outpatient endoscopy center joint venture with physicians and the hospital.
Hospitalists – Seeking Internal Medicine or Med/Ped physicians to expand our Hospitalist program from four to six physicians. Our goal is to improve critical pathways and disease management, facilitate teamwork between physicians and hospital staff, and increase admissions from physicians in outlying areas.
Internal Medicine - Opportunity in general Internal Medicine practice, outpatient/inpatient services, GI procedures, opportunity to invest in a joint venture endoscopy center with the hospital and local physicians. Choose to join a multi-specialty group or establish a solo practice with a 1:4 call schedule.
Internal Medicine in Stone County - Primary care group would like to add an Internal Medicine physician to their practice in Mountain View. Stone County Medical Center is a 25 bed critical access facility.
OB/GYN - Additional OB/GYN provider needed due to continuing rise in births within the White River Health System service area. Our family centered maternity unit includes 11 LDRP’s, remote access to fetal monitoring system, Level II Nursery, and HUGS security system. All nurses are NRP certified and have Advanced Fetal Monitoring training. The Women's Unit has 10 GYN beds with wellness canopies. The call will be 1:4.
Orthopaedic Surgeon with Spine Fellowship – Well-established Orthopaedic group consisting of two surgeons is looking for an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Spine Fellowship to join their group. Current volumes for each of the orthopedic surgeons average between 50-75 cases per month. We have state-of-the-art equipment in Orthopaedics, including fracture table, synthes, trauma systems and state-of-the-art arthroscopic and total joint equipment. Sponsorship of a spine fellowship could also be arranged. If you are looking for a small town with a low crime rate, good public school system, and an abundance of outdoor activities, this is a wonderful opportunity.
Psychiatrists - Salaried position with bonus potential. The opportunity includes nursing home consults, 12- bed Geriatric Psychiatric Unit, outpatient and inpatient consults. Call coverage is ten (10) days per month.
Pulmonologist – Collaborate with our Hospitalist program, perform procedures, go into private practice or join a multi-facility group. Flexibility is the key. WRMC exclusively uses Siemens Servo ventilators. (4 state-of-the-art servo I ventilators and 9 servo 300a ventilators). We also utilize Collins Gold Standard PFT equipment for a full line of PFT'S. ICU has ten (10) acute and five (5) step-down beds. One third of the nursing staff is CCRN certified. We are equipped with a Respiratory Care staff of 24 therapists.
Radiologist - North Arkansas Radiology Associates is expanding and recruiting another physician. The current group is a mix of Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologists. WRMC’s Radiology Department includes digital images and PACS system, allowing Radiologists to provide services for three hospitals and eight clinics.
Rheumatologist – Join a well established multi-specialty group or establish a solo practice. Rheumatology has been identified as a need by the community and the WRMC Medical Staff. This is an opportunity to work with the hospital and medical community to develop a program of care for patients.
