Men's Screenings

Each fall, White River Medical Center and Batesville Surgery and CT Imaging team up to provide a Free Prostate Cancer Screening for the men of Batesville, Independence county and the surrounding area.

Men age 50-70, who have not been diagnosed with or treated for Prostate Cancer should be screened. African American men or men with family history should be screened beginning at age 40.

Risk Factors Include:

High Fat Diet • Obesity • Inactive Lifestyle • Family History

Early detection is the key

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in men. Nine out of ten men survive prostate cancer if it is detected early. Services are provided by White River Medical Center, Dr. Hunter Brown, Dr. Rob Emery, Dr. John Allgood and Dr. Mohit Narang.
