SCMC Tabitha Smith is the February Support Services Employee of the Month at Stone County Medical Center. Tabitha, a patient registrar, is responsible for answering incoming calls, assisting patients with admission for inpatient, emergency, and outpatient care. She is also responsible for data entry, patient demographics, copying documents and assisting other employees as needed.
Tabitha enjoys the friendly atmosphere and the relationships she has with her co-workers. Tabitha was selected by employees of the Surgery and Medical Equipment Departments for her attitude and the commitment to co-workers she demonstrates every day.
Tabitha and her husband Jonathan have been married for 13 years and are the proud parents of Tyler, Wesley and Kaylee. Tabitha enjoys playing board, card and video games with her children and learning new things.
