Smoke-Free Policy
Effective October 1, 2005, smoking is prohibited on all White River Health System properties, in accordance with Arkansas Act 134.
Visiting Hours
Some areas of our healthcare facilities have restricted visiting hours for the needs of our patients. We encourage family and friends to be with their loved ones while in the hospital; however, we may ask that you limit your stay so as not to keep the patient from rest. For additional information, please check with the nurse caring for your loved one.
In cons  ideration of the rest and healing of our patients, White River Health System facilities observe quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. During that time, we ask visitors and staff to show sensitivity to our patients' needs for rest by being as quiet as possible in the hallways, waiting areas and patient rooms. We ask that you be considerate of all patients during early morning and late hours.
Please observe special signs posted on rooms where patients are in isolation.
General Visitation Policy
Nursing staff may ask visitors to leave when necessary for the protection of the patient. Loud conversation is not allowed. If you do have children with you, we ask that you not allow them to run in the hallways, into other patients' rooms or in restricted areas.
