The starting gun will sound at 8 am on Saturday, May 14 for the WRMC 5K. The race begins at the WRMC Professional Building, challenging runners and walkers through Batesville's rolling hills. The race course will be monitored by the Independence County Sheriff's Reserve Officers and volunteers; however, runners and motorists should be aware that the course is open to traffic. The course is USATF Certified (#AR08011DLP) and co-sponsored by the White River Road Runners. Proceeds from the race will benefit the WRHS Foundation Nursing Scholarship program.
