PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

Purpose

The purpose of the White River Health System PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program is to build on the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two(PGY2) pharmacy residency training.

Qualifications

Appointment to the WRHS Pharmacy Residency Program is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of the following eligibility requirements.

  • Graduate of ACPE accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree Program
  • Arkansas Pharmacist License within 90 days of the start of residency year
  • Successful completion of organization required pre-employment screenings
