Getting started is easy. Download, complete, and mail the volunteer application or call our office to set up an interview. Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and hospital policy require a current TB skin test and annual flu vaccination for all active volunteers. The Auxiliary is a member of the Arkansas Hospital Auxiliary Association. For more information, contact the Director of Volunteer Services at 870-262-6555 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Volunteen program provides an opportunity for teens age 14-17 to learn about careers in healthcare and the importance of volunteerism. Applications are accepted each spring for the six-week summer program. In addition to their volunteer assignments, Volunteens participate in customer service training, CPR training, and activities to promote careers in healthcare.
Applications are available from area public school guidance counselors and Administration.
Auxiliary volunteers staff the hospital’s gift shop, located on the first floor. Gift shop proceeds benefit Auxiliary scholarships and capital projects to improve the patient experience.
