Local Healthcare Leaders Recognized

White River Health System (WRHS) administrators, volunteers, and staff recently received awards at the Arkansas Hospital Association (AHA) Annual Meeting in Little Rock.

(Batesville, Ark.)— White River Health System (WRHS) administrators, volunteers, and staff recently received awards at the Arkansas Hospital Association (AHA) Annual Meeting in Little Rock.

Dianne Lamberth, WRHS Board Member, received the AHA’s Distinguished Service Award.  The award recognizes the service of individuals to a cause within the healthcare industry. Dianne Lamberth serves our organization and the community with distinction through her volunteerism with programs such as the Independence County Child Advocacy Center and the Independence County Youth Athletic Association.  In 1999, she accepted a position on the Board of Directors and served as Chairman from 2006 to 2010. She has been an integral part of many projects within our system such as the reconstruction of Stone County Medical Center (SCMC) and the construction of a $35M, 114K sq.ft. expansion and renovation of White River Medical Center (WRMC).  She continues to encourage her fellow Board Members, WRHS Administrative Leadership, physicians, employees, and volunteers to overcome obstacles and work together to improve the quality of life for area residents through better healthcare.

WRMC and Stone County Medical Center (SCMC) Auxiliaries received the 5-Star Award of Excellence. The award honors an auxiliary’s involvement in their hospital, community, and Arkansas Hospital Association Auxiliary (AHAA). The 5-Star is the highest level of recognition by the AHAA.   

The WRHS Marketing Department received the Diamond Award in the category of Total Campaign (0 to 25 Beds) for the Stone County Medical Center Cardiac Rehabilitation advertising campaign.  Diamond Awards are presented each year to hospitals for excellence in Marketing. The WRHS Marketing Team includes Michele Wood, Director of Marketing; Jerrika Davis, Marketing Specialist II; Damian DeLoach, Marketing Specialist I; Stephanie King, Physician Liaison; Brad Lamb, Physician Liaison; Sheila Mace, Public Relations Coordinator; Annie Solis, Marketing Coordinator of the WRMC Medical Complex Newport; and Bailey Williams, CommHealth Coordinator. 

SCMC is a 25-bed all-private critical access hospital in Mountain View, and an affiliate of WRHS. WRMC is a 224-bed regional referral center and the flagship facility of White River Health System (WRHS).WRHS is a not-for-profit healthcare system serving residents throughout North Central Arkansas.  The system includes hospitals, outpatient facilities, primary care and specialty physician office practices, and senior life centers.  WRHS is a member of the Premier Alliance, the American Hospital Association, and the Arkansas Hospital Association and licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health.
