In accordance with Arkansas Act 134, all White River Health System owned and leased properties are smoke free. Tobacco use of any kind, including chewing tobacco and e-cigarettes, is not allowed in buildings or on the grounds for the health and safety of our patients and visitors. Thank you for your cooperation.
We encourage family and friends to be with their loved ones while in the hospital; however, we may ask you limit your stay so that patients can rest. In areas of our hospital visiting hours may be restricted. Nursing staff may ask visitors to leave the room when necessary for patient safety and to respect our patients’ privacy. Children should always be accompanied by an adult and children under age 13 should remain on the first floor except for special circumstances.
Quiet Hours are observed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. During these hours, we ask visitors and staff to show sensitivity to our patients' need for rest by being as quiet as possible in the hallways, waiting areas, and patient rooms. Please observe department specific quiet hours that may be posted.
For additional information, please check with the nurse caring for your loved one.
In order to protect the health and well-being of our patients, caregivers, and visitors please follow the isolation precaution instructions posted outside patient rooms.
