Appleget Joins The Women's Clinic

Katherine Appleget, M.D, The Women's Clinic, Batesville, AR(Batesville, Ark.)— White River Health System (WRHS) recently improved the access to women’s healthcare by adding an Obstetrician/Gynecologist to the Medical Staff. Katherine Appleget, MD, is now providing care to patients at the Women’s Clinic announced Gary Bebow, CEO of WRHS.

Dr. Appleget is responsible for providing comprehensive women’s healthcare services including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care, annual exams, menopause counseling, fertility counseling, hysteroscopic and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, and family planning.

Dr. Appleget earned a Medical Degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock. She recently completed residency in Obstetrics and gynecology at UAMS. 

She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

“As the need for OB/GYN services grows in our area, we do our best to grow with it,” said Bebow. “With the addition of Appleget, and the recent addition of OB/GYN Dr. Jason Knott, we are making a conscious effort to improve the access to much needed healthcare services for women.”

Dr. Appleget also has a Masters of Health Administration Services from UAMS.

“I chose this profession because I enjoy the continuity associated with women’s health,” said Appleget. “As an OB/GYN, I can be there for women throughout all stages of their lives, and I look forward to serving the women of this area.”       

Dr. Appleget and husband, Josh, have three children: twin girls Matilda and Madelynn, 7, and son, Lincoln, 6 months.          

Dr. Appleget joins Dr. Caroline Carlton, Dr. David Taylor, Dr. Jason Knott, and APRN Mandy Brock. The Women’s Clinic accepts most commercial insurance, as well as Medicare and Medicaid assignment.  Clinic staff can be reached, and appointments can be made by calling 870-262-2000.
