Caraway Promoted to Director at WRHS

Batesville, Ark. (February 8, 2014)—Gary Bebow, CEO of White River Health System (WRHS), is proud to announce the promotion of Hope Caraway to Director of Human Resources (HR). Caraway has been at WRHS, and in HR, for eight years.

As Director of Human Resources, Caraway is responsible for HR functions involving all entities of WRHS, including employment, employment benefits, compensation, personnel services, and employee health.

 “Hope has been very dedicated to our employees throughout her years in HR,” said Bebow. “She has developed the experience and leadership skills that make her a great fit for this promotion.”

Caraway has a bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Management from Harding University in Searcy, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

“In my tenure with WRHS, I’ve come to admire the dedication our employees have in serving our patients and their families,” said Caraway. “I look forward to helping them in this endeavor as the leader of the HR organization.”

Caraway serves on the Communications Team at WRHS. The Communications Team focuses on improving communication with employees and fostering an environment that encourages employees  to offer input on improving clinical quality, improving patient and employee satisfaction, and containing costs. She is also a board member for “A Step Forward,” a local group addressing homeless issues in the area. She has served as a board member of the United Way of Independence County.

She is a resident of Melbourne, where she was born and raised. She has two children: Korey, a student at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville; and Kristen, a high school student at Izard County Consolidated.
