Cockrill Promoted to Director at WRMC

Surgical Services, Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Observation Doyle Cockrill, RNP, CNOR, WRMC Nursing Director(Batesville, Ark.)-Gary Bebow, White River Health System (WRHS) Administrator/CEO, is pleased to announce the appointment of Doyle B. Cockrill, RNP, CNOR, as the Director of Surgical Services, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and Cardiac Observation Unit at White River Medical Center (WRMC). In his role as Director, Cockrill is responsible for managing the clinical operations, including clinical quality, scheduling, staffing, and documentation for the WRMC Surgery Department, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and Cardiac Observation. He also focuses on promoting an environment dedicated to patient and family-centered care. “Doyle is a dependable member of our healthcare team. He has been a successful leader at WRMC for many years, and we look forward to his leadership of our surgical services department,” said Gary Bebow. Cockrill has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Cockrill has worked for WRMC for 15 years and as the clinical supervisor in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab for 13 of those years. Additionally, he has years of nursing experience in general, vascular, and orthopaedic surgery. “I am looking forward to working with a great nursing leadership team at WRMC to ensure that every area of the health system provides great care and service to our customers,” said Doyle. WRMC is a 224-bed regional referral center and the flagship facility of White River Health System (WRHS). WRHS is a not-for-profit healthcare system serving residents throughout North Central Arkansas. The system includes hospitals, outpatient facilities, primary care and specialty physician office practices, and senior citizen centers. White River Health System is a member of the Premier Alliance, the American Hospital Association, and the Arkansas Hospital Association and licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health.
