New Pain Management Physician Announced

Praveen Pakeerappa MD, Interventional Pain Management(Batesville, Ark.)- Meraj Siddiqui, M.D. of the White River Medical Center (WRMC) Pain Management Clinic is pleased to announce the association of Praveen Pakeerappa, M.D.  He will be part of the WRMC Medical Staff.

The WRMC Pain Management Clinic offers interventional procedures and carefully supervised medication regimens to relieve pain and restore function to patients.  Procedures may include injections, nerve blocks, intrathecal pain pumps, kyphoplasty, and spinal cord stimulators.

“Chronic pain is a serious condition that affects a person’s well-being,” said Gary Bebow, White River Health System (WRHS) Administrator/CEO.  “Dr. Praveen joins an excellent group of well-qualified Pain Management physicians dedicated to helping patients improve their quality of life.”

Dr. Praveen received his Medical Degree at Bangalore Medical College in India.  He completed Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehab at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. He received Fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Texas Tech University Health and Science Center in Lubbock, Texas.

"Patients will benefit from Dr. Praveen’s training in physical medicine and rehabilitation," said Dr. Siddiqui.  “His objectives align with our goal to provide patients with a treatment plan that relieves pain and allows them to continue with their daily living activities.”
