Clinical Education, Critical Care, Progressive Care, Vascular Access Jennifer Sherberth, BSN, RN, VA-BC, Critical Care Nursing DirectorBatesville, Ark – Gary Bebow, CEO of White River Health System (WRHS), is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Sherberth, BSN, RN, VA-BC, to Director of Critical Care Services and Director of Employee Education at White River Medical Center (WRMC). As the Director of Critical Care Services, Sherberth’s responsibilities include planning, directing, and controlling operations for the Inpatient Hemodialysis Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, and Vascular Access. She has eighteen years of Critical Care Nursing experience and has been the Clinical Nurse Manager in the Intensive Care Unit for several years before advancing to the Nurse Director. In her role as Director of Employee Education, Sherberth is responsible for overseeing the employee education program, which involves providing wellness and education to employees of White River Health System. “As an eighteen year employee, Jennifer has proven her dedication to our organization,” said Bebow. “Her enthusiasm and skills will be essential in directing the teams that care for our most critically ill patients.” Sherberth received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is currently enrolled in the master’s program at the University of Texas with an expected graduation date of May 2018. Throughout her tenure at WRMC, Sherberth has served as an ICU staff nurse, charge nurse, House Charge Supervisor, and as a member of the Vascular Access team. She has obtained certification in Critical Care Nursing, and a separate certification in Vascular Access. “It was an honor to be selected for this position,” said Sherberth. “I am very excited to be working with the nursing leadership team that has recently been put into place. I look forward to further developing a high-performance culture to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.” Sherberth and her husband, Eric, have a daughter named Abbi. Jennifer also has a son named Garrett. WRMC is a 224-bed regional referral center and the flagship facility of White River Health System (WRHS).
