Jamie Gooch, RN, Hospital Medicine Department is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) July Employee of the Month as the representative of Respect.
Jamie assists Hospitalist Physicians providing inpatient care to patients. This includes gathering data about new patients, medication reconciliation, and discharge planning. She is a part of the care team that ensures patients receive excellent care. Jamie has been an employee for 13 years. She has also worked on the Orthopaedics and Oncology floors, the ICU, and as a Charge Nurse.
“WRMC is home to me,” said Jamie. “We are fortunate to have co-workers that are dedicated to patient care.”
Jamie and her husband, Brian are the parents of three children: Payton, Haley, and Kaelyn. Payton is a sophomore at Lyon College. Haley accepted an academic scholarship and will play basketball for the Scots this fall. Kaelyn is passionate about reading and sports and will begin the seventh grade this fall. Jamie and Brian love spending time with family and attending their children’s activities. The family has four dogs, two cats, and a hedgehog. Jamie is thankful to work for an employer that makes it easy to spend time with the people she loves.
WRMC Employees nominate one of their peers each month as the representative of a Pride Standard. The PRIDE standards are Prompt Service, Respect, Involved, Demeanor, and Environmental Focus.
