Debbie Mitchell, CMSRN, RN, 3rd Floor Charge Nurse, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) February Employee of the Month as the representative of Respect. Reva Wells, RN, nominated Debbie. Debbie provides patient care, trains new employees, provides education to fellow employees, and serves as Charge Nurse for 7PM shift. Debbie considers her co-workers her second family. Throughout her 22-year career, Debbie has worked as a float pool nurse, orthopaedic nurse, and other areas as needed. Debbie has a daughter, Samantha, who is also a RN at WRMC, and Debbie has three grandchildren. WRMC employees nominate fellow employees who best represent one or more of the PRIDE standards. The PRIDE standards are Prompt Service, Respect, Involved, Demeanor, and Environmental Focus.
