(Batesville, Ark.) – Gary L. Bebow, CEO of White River Health System (WRHS), is pleased to welcome Dr. Jyothi Prabha, Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine, to the Medical Staff. Dr. Prabha is practicing at the WRMC Medical Complex Southside.
Internal Medicine physicians are specialists who apply scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to the diagnosis, treatment, and compassionate care of adults of all ages. Her scope of practice ranges from primary care to complex chronic medical conditions.
As a Sleep Medicine specialist, Dr. Prabha is focused on the diagnosis, management, and treatment of sleep disorders such as snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, and more.
Dr. Prabha received her medical degree from Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences in India. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, Texas. She recently completed a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

My goal is to work towards prevention of diseases through education and timely screenings to help patients achieve a better state of overall health,” said Dr. Prabha. I would also like to make the community aware of the importance of sleep hygiene. I want to provide help for all types of their sleep disorders, and educate them about the consequences of untreated sleep disorders and obesity.”
She and her husband, Pediatrician Dr. Premnath Chinnaiyan, have one eight-year-old son.
