Betty Willette, BSN, CPAN, CAPA, from The Stepping Stone (Inpatient Psychiatric Unit), is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) December Employee of the Month as the representative of Involved.
Betty is a part of the patient care team focused on improving patients’ mental and physical well-being. Betty evaluates the mental and physical health of the patients in her care. She educates patients about their illness and the medications prescribed as a part of their treatment plan. She evaluates the effectiveness of medications, and patients’ response and participation in group therapy.
Betty began her career at WRMC in 1991 on the 2nd Medical/Surgical Floor. She has worked on 3rd Floor, with Dr. Lambert as the Bariatric Program Liaison, and in the Ambulatory Care Center, Surgical Pre-Op/Post Op before transferring to The Stepping Stone.
Betty and her husband of 40 years, Lorey, are the parents of seven children and ten grandchildren. Lorey is an RN in the Maternity Department. Betty enjoys sewing, reading and crafting.
The WRMC Employees of the Month are nominated by their peers for best demonstrating a PRIDE standard. The PRIDE standards are Prompt Service, Respect, Involved, Demeanor, and Environmental Focus.
