Rhonda Thompson, RN, Senior Haven, is the White River Medical Center (WRMC) June Employee of the Month as the representative of Respect. Rhonda’s job duties include working as the Charge Nurse, providing direct patient care, completing evaluations, serving on nursing teams, and ordering unit supplies. She has worked at WRMC for ten years. Prior to working in Senior Haven, Rhonda worked in the Recuperative Care and Inpatient Rehabilitation Units. Rhonda enjoys helping patients and their families. She also enjoys her co-workers. “Senior Haven has an awesome staff. Ashtin Rogers, BSN, is a great Nurse Manager and the physicians, Dr. Czerwinski and Dr. Fielder, are great to work with,” said Rhonda. Rhonda and her husband of 24 years, David, are the parents of two daughters. Rhonda is currently continuing her education to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The WRMC Employees of the Month are nominated by their peers for best demonstrating a PRIDE standard. The PRIDE standards are Prompt Service, Respect, Involved, Demeanor, and Environmental Focus.
