Toi McMullin, RN, is the White River Medical Center January Employee of the Month. Toi works in the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department and was selected for Leadership. Along with her co-workers, she educates patients about their diagnosis and teaches them how to make lifestyle changes to improve their health. Toi also assists with the Tobacco Cessation Program.
Toi has been with WRMC for ten years, first as a patient care tech while studying to become a Registered Nurse. After completing her training, she joined the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Team. Toi is a member of the Patient Experience Team and leading the 2015 ACE Training Program.
What Toi likes most about working at WRMC is being part of an organization that is so important to our community and that prioritizes the health and well-being of its patients. Working in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Department provides the opportunity for Toi to educate and equip patients, and our community, with tools for healthier lives. Because she and her team share the same passion for educating our patients, Toi considers it a joy to come to work each day.
Toi has been married to her husband, Johnny, for twenty-five years. Their daughter is a pharmacy student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Toi’s hobbies include spending time with her family, activities on the White River, walking, cooking, entertaining and working on outdoor projects with her husband.
