Carol McCourt, M.D. Joins WRMC Pain Management Clinic

Carol McCourt, M.D., Interventional Pain Management(Batesville, Ark.)--Meraj Siddiqui, M.D. of the White River Medical Center (WRMC) Pain Management Clinic is pleased to announce the association of Carol McCourt, M.D., Interventional Pain Management. She will be a part of the Medical Staff at WRMC.

As a Pain Management physician, Dr. McCourt will provide outpatient treatment to relieve chronic pain, restore function and decrease or eliminate the need for prescription pain medications. Chronic pain is ongoing pain lasting beyond the normal healing time for an injury or an illness, which adversely affects the well-being and quality of life.

McCourt received her Medical Degree at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock. She also completed her Internship and Residency in Anesthesia at UAMS, University Hospital, Arkansas Children's Hospital, and the Veterans Hospital.

She has 14 years of general anesthesia experience providing complex to simple anesthetics for surgical procedures and pain management. She says pain management has always been her passion.

"Dr. McCourt has extensive experience in pain management," said Dr. Siddiqui. "We look forward to adding her to our team and seeing the benefits she will bring to our patients."

McCourt is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

“I am excited about becoming a part of the team at the WRMC Pain Management Clinic,” said McCourt.

She will be joining Dr. Siddiqui and Dr. John Larson at the WRMC Pain Management Clinic in April and is accepting new patients by referral.
