(Batesville, Ark.) – Gary Paxson, White River Medical Center (WRMC) Administrator, is pleased to welcome Deborah Jankowski as Director of Surgical Services. Jankowski leads the Surgical Services team, which includes surgical pre-admission, pre-operative/post-operative care, operating rooms/endoscopy suites, and central sterile processing. She is responsible for operational performance including clinical quality, patient satisfaction, resource allocation, and staffing. Jankowski has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University. She is pursuing a Graduate Degree at Central Michigan University. Her work experience includes Intensive Care, General Medical/Surgical Care, Operating Rooms, and Preoperative Care/Recovery and pain clinic. Jankowski has held many leadership positions including Clinical Manager, Director of Nursing, and Director of Surgical Services. “Deborah’s diverse experience makes her a great fit for the position,” said Paxson “She offers a fresh perspective that will enable WRMC further improve and expand our Surgical Services.” “I enjoy the challenges that come with meeting the needs of patients in a safe and efficient manner,” said Jankowski. “I am eager to work with the excellent team of nurses, anesthesia providers, and surgeons who make up the Surgical Services Department.
