WRMC Adds Rheumatology Specialty; New Rheumatologist Joins Staff

(Batesville, Ark.) – White River Medical Center (WRMC) is now offering Rheumatology services. Gary L. Bebow, Administrator/CEO of White River Medical Center (WRMC), is pleased to announce that Dr. Shailendra Singh, Rheumatologist, is currently accepting new patients. Dr. Singh is in practice at the WRMC Rheumatology Clinic, in Suite A of Dr. Bob Walton’s former office at 12 Hospital Circle.

As a Rheumatologist, Dr. Singh is trained to treat patients experiencing musculoskeletal diseases, rheumatic diseases, or other diseases that cause pain, stiffness, and/or swelling of the joints, muscles, and bones. Singh treats common rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, vasculitis, and many more. 

Dr. Singh received his medical degree from the University College of Medical Sciences in Delhi, India. He completed his residency at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Maryland, a teaching college with an affiliation to Johns Hopkins University. He completed his Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Virginia.

“Without the proper care, rheumatic diseases can be debilitating,” said Bebow. “We are happy to have Dr. Singh on staff where patients can now get the care they need locally.”

Dr. Singh and his wife, Internist Dr. Jyoti Chaudhary, have a four-year old son.
