Although Dr. Bloch’s focus is treating patients with hepatitis C, she also accepts new patients for wellness exams, women’s health, diabetes management, and more.
Hepatitis C is a viral infection that causes liver inflammation and damage.
Most people infected with hepatitis C have no symptoms. Some people with an acute hepatitis C infection may have symptoms within 1 to 3 months after they are exposed to the virus.
These symptoms may include:
• Dark yellow urine
• Feeling tired
• Fever
• Gray-or clay-colored stools
• Joint pain
• Loss of appetite
• Nausea
• Pain in your abdomen
• Vomiting
• Yellowish eyes and skin, called jaundice
Your Provider may recommend you be screened for hepatitis C based on multiple factors such as your age, family history, working conditions, and more.
If you are interested in learning more about hepatitis C or want to schedule an appointment, please call Dr. Bloch’s office to speak with a medical professional.
